Cal. 44 Mag. S# 21447. Bbl. is 10" with serrated blade integral to ramped base front sight plus factory installed "Micro" marked rear sight. Mfg. 1959 (1956-1962 for all 44 Flat Tops) as Type 4 BKH40; rare 10" barrel, straight slot steel ejector housing and XR3 grip frame with slightly figured optional walnut grips having black eagle medallions. References state 1,500 units of this variation produced. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. CONDITION: a few extremely faint handling marks on grips; balance is good to very good with thinning throughout in normal high point areas plus notable thinning on cylinder. Factory quality refinish; grip frame is not anodized appearing to be Cerakoted. Near excellent bore. (26-1055/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
